As part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the statehood of Adygea, in Maykop, a major overhaul of the Art Gallery of the Republic was carried out. Last week, the grand opening of the renovated gallery was held, which was marked by the exhibition "Art without Borders" from the funds of the Art Gallery of the Republic of Adygea,- the press service of the Head of Adygea reports.
One of the honorary guests of the exhibition was the Head of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov.
The guests got acquainted with the exposition, as well as with the results of the renovation. About 11.4 million rubles were allocated for these purposes from the federal and republican budgets.
Director of the Art Gallery of the Republic of Adygea Abdulakh Bersirov thanked the Head of the Republic for his assistance in carrying out repairs, which the gallery needed for a long time. During its formation, since 1980, large-scale transformations were carried out here for the first time. Now the gallery meets all modern requirements.
The head of Adygea noted the importance of this cultural event and the entire cycle of planned events within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the statehood of the Republic of Adygea for the development of the creative potential of the republic and the identification of new talents, and declared his readiness to further support creative initiatives and actively use new platforms for the popularization of art.
