Israeli Welfare Minister visits the Circassian village of Kfar-Kama

On April 6, Minister of Welfare and Social Security of the State of Israel Meir Cohen visited the Circassian settlement of Kfar Kama.

The minister was welcomed by the head of the municipal council of Kfar Kama, Zakaria Napso. At the meeting held in the council building, Zakaria Napso presented the minister with the council's activities on a range of issues. The director of the council's social services department also introduced the minister to the department's extensive activities in the settlement.

Then the minister visited the Circassian Heritage Center, where he was received by the staff of the center, who spoke about the history and culture of the Circassians and introduced him to the activities of the center.

Summing up the results of the visit, the minister noted that he was very impressed with the work of the council and the department in the field of welfare, the dedicated workers of the department, the Circassian culture and heritage, and that he was very pleased to have the opportunity to visit Kfar Kama.
