In the Republic of Adygea, a significant revival of the tourist industry and an increase in the tourist flow are expected from the beginning of the May holidays, the head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, announced this in his telegram channel.
“Our republic has become one of the most popular tourist destinations. Given the restrictions on international flights to a number of countries, experts predict an increase in demand for domestic tourism. And we, together with the tourist enterprises of the republic, are ready to take all necessary measures to popularize the tourist complex of Adygea and attract guests to our region, - Murat Kumpilov wrote.
He noted that the authorities of the region intend to use all the possibilities of import substitution in the tourism sector.
Despite the coronavirus restrictions, last year the tourist flow amounted to about 470 thousand people, which is 4% more than in 2020.
